By default Insieme.AI uses European models, chosen for quality, speed and EU regulatory compliance. We pick the best model for each type of task: one for conversations, one for searches, one for classifying requests. We're not tied to a single provider — this lets us upgrade models without you having to change anything. With Premium, Roleplay and Business plans you can choose from dozens of available models.

Conversations are separate: each companion has its own chat history and cannot access the others'. Extracted memories — facts about you, preferences, goals — are shared, so that every companion has the context needed to help you best. You can view, edit or delete any memory from your personal area at any time.

Conversations and memories remain available until you delete them. We don't delete anything automatically. When you request deletion — of a single message, a memory or your entire account — data is permanently removed from our servers, with no hidden copies. You can also export all your data at any time, as required by GDPR.

Insieme.AI connects to Gmail and Outlook via OAuth, the same security standard used by apps like Slack or Notion. You can also connect any other mailbox via IMAP/SMTP credentials (iCloud, Aruba, Libero, Yahoo, Zoho and many others), with passwords securely encrypted on the server. For calendar we use Google Calendar and Outlook Calendar. Your companion can read your inbox and prepare draft replies — but never sends anything without your control, and can check your appointments and create new ones. We don't store your emails or events: we access data in real time and don't keep copies on our servers.

Roleplay mode lets you play creative fictional scenarios with Friend and Romantic companions (Sara, Cristian, Aria, Leo). You can simulate job interviews, negotiations, social situations, romantic encounters and much more. It's included in the Roleplay plan.

Yes, Roleplay mode is exclusively reserved for users aged 18 and over. Activation requires explicit age confirmation and acceptance of specific terms and conditions. Roleplay chats are completely separate from normal chats.

WhatsApp requires that bots can only send messages within 24 hours of the last message received from the user. If you don't write to the bot for more than 24 hours, the session expires and the bot won't be able to send you reminders, notifications, or proactive messages until you send a new message. For this reason, you may occasionally receive a short message from your companion asking you to reply: this is to keep the session active. Any reply is enough to renew the 24-hour window. This limitation does not apply to Telegram, where the bot can send you messages at any time.

The Custom Prompt lets you customize your companions' behavior and works on three levels, automatically combined. The default prompt is a global Custom Prompt you set in Settings (available with Premium, Business, and Roleplay plans): it is always injected into every conversation with all companions, in any mode. The per-companion prompt is a Custom Prompt specific to each companion, set on the Companions page: when present, it is added alongside the default prompt. The roleplay prompt is dedicated to Roleplay mode: when roleplay is active, the roleplay prompt replaces the per-companion prompt, but the global default prompt always remains active. In summary: if you haven't configured anything, the companion uses only its built-in personality; if you only have the default prompt, it applies to all companions; if you also have a per-companion prompt, both are combined; if roleplay is active with a roleplay prompt, the default prompt and the roleplay prompt are used — the per-companion prompt is not applied.
